No Manda, soy is NOT healthy for you. Soy is unhealthy. Fermented soy in small amounts is OK like Miso, temphe and soy sauce. But soy protein, soy milk, tofu, in large amounts are bad for your health. More and more studies are proving this. See http://www.soyonlineservice.co.nz/

Even the American Heart Association has withdrawn their claim that soy helps prevent heart disease.

The safety of soy foods has yet to be proven, and that human beings have become guinea pigs in what Daniel M. Sheehan, formerly senior toxicologist with the FDA's National Center for Toxicological Research, has called a "large, uncontrolled and basically unmonitored human experiment." D. M. Sheehan, "Isoflavone Content of Breast Milk and Soy Formulas: Benefits and Risks," letter to the editor, Clin Chem 43 (1997): 850.

I drink organic whole raw milk. It's available in 28 states. Go to http://www.realmilk.com/
As a vegetarian you can drink milk, cheese, yogurt, kefir, eggs, and cream preferably from healthy grass fed animals not the confinement commercial factory farms. To find healthy food go to:http://www.eatwild.com/

I think that for the most part Kashi products are healthy, but I also know that large consumption of soy products can affect thyroid function. When I was having thyroid problems they asked me whether I ate a lot of soy products, since they can contribute to thyroid dysfunction. I think its all about moderation though.

I don't believe it either......... I eat a ton of soy products, the
only distress I've ever noticed is maybe more gas, but Beano will help with that.
Kashi products are healthy IMO, I'm just recovering from surgery and the only crackers I would eat are Kashi TLC........the other crackers are all made from "bleached or enriched flours"....

Honestly, I don't believe it. Soy is VERY healthy for you, especially since I'm a vegetarian, I drink it every day in smoothies and cereals.
Don't believe that stuff..
