Reaction Time ~ Science Grade Eight?

So we did this experiment in class where we dropped a ruler above someone’s hand and we saw how quickly they catched it (how many cm). We then dunked their hand in cold water for a minute and repeated, to see that their reaction was slower. Then they had to open and close their hand as fast as they could for 2 min and repeated and the reaction was quicker (it took less cm to catch)!

So then I have these questions just answer one if you can’t answer them both.

After completeing this experiment, what can be said about the nervous system and the signals it carres?

How could information like this be useful for an employer when it comes to employee productivity?

People all over the world….which one of these topics is the hardest?

Anatomy, Biochemistry, Biology, Genetics, Immunology, Microbiology, Nutritional Sciences, Pharmacology, Physiology, and Zoology.

AND these, too: musculoskeletal system; haemostasis mechanisms; haematopoietic system; nervous system; immune system; cardiovascular system; renal physiology; neurophysiology; endocrinology and gastrointestinal physiology

Many people said it is easy but I asked a previous question, and he said it is hard

I need to know so I can know what courses to take for high school to prepare for university.

Question about Wii System Update 4.2?

I’m a bit nervous about updating my Wii, as I heard modded (and in the rare case, unmodded) Wii’s will become bricked.

Now, the only thing I’ve done to mine was softmodded to get the Homebrew Channel on it, and some file that allowed me to play DVD movies (using the Homebrew Channel).

This was before the 4.1 update, so when that came around and said that it’ll automatically remove unauthorized modifications to save files, I went ahead and downloaded it (I assume this deleted that hidden DVD file).

This didn’t delete the Homebrew Channel, but I recently deleted that myself anyway.

In all, I’m concerned about whether it’ll brick anyway, and if it does and I have to send it in, Nintendo will see that I’ve had softmods on it.

*And I really don’t want to mess around with anymore software on it anymore.*

Any advice or reassurance is greatly appreciated. =)
I heard that another supposed cause is if you’ve installed BootMii. I don’t think I’ve ever installed that; I’ve only used Bannerbomb to install DVDx, and the Twilight Hack (this was a while ago) to get the Homebrew Channel.

Yasmin Questions – Vomiting? Headaches? Constipation? Help!?

Ok so I’ve been on Yasmin birth control for about 3 weeks now, just over that. For the first two weeks or so I started having really bad constipation. I hadn’t went to the bathroom for days upon days. Finally that sort of let up but I still have some pain in my stomach and constantly feel like I have to use the bathroom. I’m probably just use to the feeling now and that’s why it seems to have gotten better. With the stomach problems I’ve had a lot of nausea, which I know nausea is a definite side effect of Yasmin. I use to get nausea all the time though, it’s just in a significant amount now.
Should I be concerned about either one of them?

As well, my mood’s been kind of all over the place, my boyfriend said I’ve been really “needy” lately and I’m not usually like that. I’ve found like stupid little things that sound even remotely sad I start to tear up with… Is that just the hormones from the pill affect on me?

Then on Valentines day I had a MAJOR headache/migraine just over my eyes so I said I have to take something for it. I took my Aleve I have in my bag. I know you shouldn’t take ibuprofen or acetaminphen with yasmin or there could be some side effects. I wasn’t sure if it’d give me side effects but I think it did? About an hour after I took the Aleve I started throwing up. Sucky thing is we were at the movies so here I was in the bathroom getting sick. For the rest of the night, I was either found up in the bathroom or in my bed. The aleve didn’t help my headache, it actually made it worse and with that I felt super dizzy and weak. Obviously I’m never trying that again.

As for today, I woke up about 20 minutes ago and I was suppose to start a new job in the business I work with but I’ve gotten myself so worked up that I had/have to call in. :( I don’t know if it’s partially the pill or if it’s just me being extremely nervous. I feel sick again but not actually getting sick, and my head’s starting to pound. What do you think?

With that said, I have one more question, I noticed in all the sites that you can get kidney damage while taking Yasmin. When I was 5 I actually had a back up? in my system and had to get my tubes re-transplanted in my bladder. They had to basically cut the tube and move it over to another hole they made in my bladder. Should I question about that?

Please help, any advice on yasmin will help greatly.

QUESTION # 2. University of Toronto requires 2 years of bachelor degree to get in Nursing program, So Do I have to complete all 4 years of Kinesiology then apply to BScN OR only first 2 years of Kinesiology. Will they accept me or I have to finish all 4 years then apply to U of T in order to get in? How does this work, Kinesiology is 4 years in Length. And is it same system with other universities as well?

Questions About Hypothyroidism?

I believe I may have had this my entire life, but was only diagnosed last year. I take eltroxin. Sometimes I still have insomnia and memory problems. Before I was treated, my symptoms varied from severe to almost non-existant. I would like to know if this is possible for the severity of the condition to vary depending upon factors like emotional stress. Also, will my memory ever come back? Sometimes I feel so stupid. People tell me I am not, and I recently re-enrolled in college and received very good marks, but I just don’t feel as smart as I was a few years ago. Could this condition cause permanent brain damage? I know sometimes the sympathetic nervous system will overcompensate by releasing too much epinephren. I had a spell that went on for months, that was like being on a bad speed trip I couldn’t get off of. Could having too much epinephren in my system have caused permanent damage?
I’m 35 and I mean memory loss similar to senile dementia. I know with aging people forget some things, but not complete blackouts. There were times I forgot everything, including how to speak. I couldn’t remember common words, and even forgot my name at times. I’ve had my t3 & t4 levels checked every six months, and so far they have been stable now that I’m on medication.
