    13. the developing embryo is considered a fetus
    14. the placenta is the life line for the developing baby, oxygen, nutrients (carbohydrates, lipids, proteins), antibodies, etc. pass through the placenta to the baby, and waste products, urea, carbon dioxide,etc. leave the baby through the placenta
    15. the third trimester is when the fetus gains weight, and increase in size (organs are already made, but need to gain in size and mass) and the lungs finish developing
    16.?
