Biology Questions? Please Help?

Please don’t say “Do your own homework,” because I have been, I just can’t seem to find an answer to the following question:
What happens to air is it passes through the nasal cavity and air passages of the respiratory system on its way to the lungs.
Thank you!

Please help me figure out these Biology questions.?

Which organelle would you expect to find in the cells of a fern, but not a flatworm?
nucleus
chloroplast
ribosome
mitochondrion

Which system do you find in a human, but not in a flatworm?
a digestive system
a nervous system
a respiratory system

. Which fuel powers all of the activities of cells in all organisms on earth?
glucose
DNA
ATP
protein

Through which body part do humans take in the energy they need to survive?
stomach
mouth
skin
intestines

Do plants such as ferns need to break down glucose to obtain energy?
No, they absorb the sun’s energy directly.
No, they absorb energy from the soil.
Yes, they make glucose and break it down to produce ATP.
No, they make glucose, but they don’t break it down.

I really need the correct answers to these questions, Please.?

1.) Explain why cystic fibrosis is a disorder that affects both the respiratory system and digestive system?
2.)Achlorhydria is a condition in which the stomach stops producing hydrochloric acid and other secretions. What effect would achlorhydria have on the digestive process? On red blood cell count?3.)In carbon monoxide (CO)poisoning, CO binds to hemoglobin, preventing the uptake of oxygen by hemppglobin. When CO binds to hemoglobin, the oxygen-hemoglobin dissociation curve shifts to the left. What consquences of this shift on the ability of tissues to get oxygen? Explain.4.)You and your physiology instructor are trapped in an overturn ship. To escape, you must swim underwater a long distance. You tell your instructor it would be good to hyperventilate before making the escape attempt. Your instructor calmly replies, “what good would that do, since your pulmonary capillaries are already 100% saturated with oxygen?”what would you do and why?5.)Is the oxygen-hemoglobin dissociation curve in humans who live at high altitides to the left or right of a person who lives at low altitudes? Explain

Why do we need oxygen to live?

I’ve seen so many questions like these, but none of them really answered it correctly. I’m doing a science project on the respiratory system, and I’d like to know exactly why we need oxygen for our body to function correctly. I need a pretty simple answer, but still in some details. 10 points to a good answer or link.

1) Does a frog need a pulmonary circulation system as “efficient” as man’s? Why or why not?

If you can please answer some other questions too!:

2) Describe the function of each of the following: spleen, gall bladder, and the pancreas.

3) Why would it be hard to straighten out the digestive tract? What holds it together?

4) Compare the relative sizes of the brain lobes of your frog to any small mammal and to a human. Do you see a pattern?

5) Describe mating in frogs and the stages of frog development. How does the respiratory system change as the frog undergoes metamorphosis from a tadpole to an adult frog?
