Here is the situation; My girlfriend went for her schedualed pap smear. The Doctor told her she had a swollen overy. This created a scare making us believe she may have been pregnant, even though the doctor said she wasnt. At this point in time, it had been a month since we had sex, and a couple days after she had a period. We believe her period came early because of an abrupt stop in her birth control. When her period ended, she started fresh on a new dial pack, but still had that suspision that she could be pregnant. Not long after that, we had some intercourse, but not sex. I was scared that maybe i had gotten some pre-cum near her vagina, because the next morning she had been throwing up. I feared this may have been morning sickness. I did some research and found out that it was uncommon for morning sickness to happen so early, but still, stranger things have happened. I thought it was very unlikely seeing how she got her birth control regulated and just a tiny bit of “invaters” (pre-cum” would have been eliminated before making it to its destination. Putting all that aside, she went to the doctor that same morning (today). They ran some blood and urine samples on her, which came up negative on pregnancy. They led them into a pelvic exam. After that was all through, they came back with the results. Negative, STDs, Negative,pregnancy, Positive, mono! So she has mono, but they said they still think she had a problem with her overies, thus schedualing an ultrasound (which we are still awaiting). So my question is, could this be a cyst? Or could it be that very small chance that maybe she had her blood test way to early from conception? Or could it be that the combination of a possible cyst, and mono, that are making her have diahreah and vomiting symptoms? I was also looking into disorders online. Everytime we go to have sex, it hurts for a little bit when we first get started, until she gets more relaxed, then we can go on about our business even though we’ve been having sex for about a year, this goes on everytime with no exeptions. With all that being said, does this sound like a reproductive problem? Or are the doctors just confused because it would be too early for a possible pregnancyto show up?
