Is parasitism a clear message from God that life is about leeching off of our fellow human beings?

One of my favorite books is “Parasite Rex” by Carl Zimmer. It’s basically chock full of fascinating descriptions of different parasites affecting humans and other animals.

Some parasites might kill their host outright, for example, an overzealous tapeworm might take up residence in a child’s brain and eventually cause it to die. Others, though, might have a minimal impact on the host in its own best interest, such as certain kinds of blood fluke; they might hang out inside a human body for years, only peeking out once in a while to reproduce, but otherwise remaining stealthily off the beaten path of the immune system.

In either case, the parasite has latched on to its host for sustenance out of convenience. The host thus chosen isn’t necessarily chosen for its looks, intellect, annual income, and other societal factors, but rather happenstance. If you happen to be stuck at an oasis in the middle of an African desert, and drink from the water, fluke or worm babies living in the water there will happily climb aboard and colonize you like millions of Columbus (or Pizarro if they’re especially brutal).

Does God provide us a glimpse into the world of parasites to give us guidance on how to live our lives? Should we leech off people and things larger than ourselves?

Shouldn’t you be running for 300 ppm or less instead of 350 ppm? If you research in our science books & encyclopedias, CO2 is recorded 300 ppm in early 20th century and, probably before the industrial revolution, it could be less. For you to compromise a carbon emission reduction deal at 350 ppm, this should not be the case. You are being drawn away by the falsity of UNEP’s concept & theory of carbon emission reduction and therefore, you likewise belonged to those being misled & deceived.

7 years ago (December 2002), a Philippine technology was ambitiously offered by the author from the Philippines to UN that promotes large scale photosynthesis against emission reduction. It was only rejected & ignored by UN including some 30 foreign countries because there was an existing treaty. By doing so, the world need not restrain & restrict transportation & industries from emission because its waste gas (CO2) is a major food material of plants & trees. You must remember that fossil fuels like coal & oil came or originated from plants & dead animals and therefore, our CO2 emissions from transportation & industries as well as CO2 releases from organisms are natural. Nature will play its role to make gases flow round from gaseous state to solid or liquid matter and back to gas, i.e., what goes up must come down in spinning the wheel. However, the datum of Millennium Development as of 2005 revealed that we had 60% desertification worldwide and hence, nature is not cycling GHG but vomiting in the form of climate change. If we restore these desertified soils which turned into wastelands from agriculture or forestry, we can regain 100% photosynthesis back to work on earth in order to balance CO2 emissions with O2 consumptions. With massive O2 regeneration & replenishment on earth, it could cool climate, repair our O3 layer, rebuild our glaciers back, strengthen our cells & immune system and many more against climate change. In this way, global warming & climate change will be a thing of the past.

Your action is not acceptable to allow carbon emission reduction (anchored on wrong or false science by UNEP & IPCC) as a deal by world leaders & rulers. Nature cannot be compromised by such a deal among men & governments otherwise global warming & climate change will not go away because depleted O3 layer has not been repaired, melted water from glaciers has not been returned and desertification has not been restored to its original condition. Unified & collective action via photosynthesis will do it better & fast in a short period of time say, 1 or 2 years than world’s emission projection to 2020 or 2050 with no assurance or guaranty of recovery.

Since there is no more hope to convince people and no more time to return earth to the original condition when God created the world, He will act very soon.

How to home school in michigan?

Okay I am going to be in 10th grade and don’t want to go back to public schools. They don’t clean the class rooms (it is up to the teacher if he or she wants to clean because they don’t get paid to do it) and the bathrooms get cleaned once a month. I have a low immune system and I’m getting sick in this situation faster then the other kids do meaning I missed 1 or 2 days a week getting sick. So my mom wants to home-school me…. well how do I do homeschooling? We tried talking to my school they would not give us much Information but they would say “it takes Always from the school if I am home-schooled and their school can not loose that money”. Well I got 6 credits up from last year my mom can’t afford the online schooling ( none public online schools free in Michigan )how can I do free homeschooling? I have a lot of “Standard Deviants” videos and text books do I need a certified teacher? I am 15 years old can I do some kind of independent study of some sort and still take a test to get my diploma? Please help? Give me as much Information as you can!! What are all the steps? Please just explain don’t just leave links! Thanks!

Did I overtrain in the gym?

I spent round about 1 and a half hours in the gym yesterday, longer than i usually spend, doing a full body workout. Here are the exercises I did:

Squats – 2×8/10
Incline Bench Press -2×10
Dips – 2×8/10
Incline Flyes – 2×10
BB Military press – 1×10 drop set
DB Shoulder press/superset with lateral raises – 1×10/4
Straight Leg Deadlift – 2×10
Standing Calf Raise – 2×10
Lateral Raises 1×10
Reverse Flyes – 2×10
Close grip seated rows – 2×10
Pull ups – 1×8
Lat pulldowns 2×6/8
Leg press machine calf raise – 2×10
Weighted Crunches – 1×20

Now I know this isn’t completely physically taxing as i did only 2 excercises of 2 sets per muscle. However most of these were compound lifts which are very taxing on the CNS, and were mostly done to failure. Towards the end I could only manage one set of pull ups and only 8 when usually i can do 3 sets of 12 with ease. I was feeling a bit nauseous and very hot, but then i only had a jumper on before going out into the cold (about 2 degrees at the time) and cycling home downhill. So i was basically sitting in the cold.

The last time before this I did weight training was last tuesday and i did a full body workout with only 2 sets per muscle group as well, so i havent overdone it in most people’s books.

Now I have symptoms of a cold, and even though I was really tired I only managed to sleep from 10:30 till 5 when usually I can’t naturally wakeup with less than 9 hours sleep.

I’m wondering if I overworked my CNS a bit and now my immune system is down, or weather i just got a cold from riding on the way home??
I drank round about half a litre while in the gym, and then had around 600ml with my pwo shake

Do you think these were stupid purchases for me to buy when I’m on a budget?

I’m job hunting. I work 2 jobs & need a 3rd one to pay bills. So for right now I only have 2 1/2 months worth of money for needs/bills. I live on my own & have been cutting back. Please tell me if you disagree with something I bought, I will return it tomorrow if they were stupid purchases.

- two books (total ) to read so I won’t go out of the house much
- bought a latte & cake to say goodbye to nice rewards.
- bought some nice clothes for my current job & college presentations & a hoodie.
- I went to Target to buy two organizational things to put my things in bcz my stuff is a mess (one was and the other was on sale for )
- bottle of MultiVites 150 Vitamins for Adults so I stay healthy. I already have Vitamin C Immune System ones. I’m going to lose health insurance soon so I thought the healthy stuff was a good investment.
I spend 0 a month max on groceries because they are from food stamps so I try to eat healthy & organic.

crohnies that get sick constantly i have a question?

I have had crohn’s disease since i was 12…it went into a remission for a while but now its back and bad. Besides all of the crohn’s symptoms (diarrhea, stomach pain, nausea, fatigue, the list goes on) ive been getting sick A LOT lately. I have researched crohns since i was 12 so i know what ever there is to know about it in books or on the web, but i keep getting sick constantly. I take a rediculous amount of vitamins (as well as my steroids/pentasa) so i was wondering what do you do to help prevent being sick? I have been getting sick at least every other week (flu symptoms). My doctor is also trying to put me on either an immunosuppresant or remicade depending on how my new small bowel follow through goes. (thats where the majority of my ulcers and inflammation are. Which one do you think would be more effective in helping my immune system? I think remicade is the obvious answer but im a little afraid of getting it. Thank you so much for your help

Do you think this is a “high school drop out”?

Okay I’m about to turn 16 and the school is letting me un enroll in the school so I can do home schooling . My mother ” does not know why I want home schooling”.I have a low immune system and one cold last me sometimes 3-4 weeks. About 6 times a year I have to get an IV in me because I get so sick! I have 9 text books I brought with my work money .She now is telling her whole family I am a “high school drop out”. Which is not true I set my bars to very high standers. I wake up at 8AM and work all the way though to dinner time eat dinner in my room well studying and work till 7 pm Monday though Saturday.Also my mother got all D’s in high school and said “Oh if I took that grade so can you” . My mom also tells me when I turn 16 this month she is going to sign papers saying I am an adult and kick me out of the house!! ( I am not sure if she could do this or not)For one I would have no where to go! But do you think I am a “high school drop out”. It is really bugging me because she has my 8 year old little sister saying it. She tells all her no good friends I’m a “drop out” . Yes I “dropped out” of public school and enrolled into home schooling. But I need not “drop out of high school” what do you think?
