Can You Live Without The Skeletal System?

Hey, im doing a project on the skeletal system and one of the things i need to know is whether or not I can live without the skeletal system and why or why not……can anyone help me?

    No you cant live without because it provides support and structure to your body and helps you move. Also the bone marrow produces red blood cells. So you definitely need it to survive.

    i dont see why you couldnt live without it you just wouldnt really live that long

    Nope. Peter Griffin did though, but I don’t believe that he’s a real person. Actually no, couldn’t be done. Just chewing food can’t be accomplished without teeth and mandible bones. Without a skeleton, muscles would have no anchor point and any movement would be impossible. Most important, the diaphragm is integral with the ribs which make breathing possible. No ribs – no breathing.
